Jazz Pianist, Composer, Arranger
Hi! I'm Nicholas Biancolin, a jazz pianist, composer, and arranger based in Toronto, Canada. It's nice to meet you!
In addition to being a musician, I'm also a Computer Engineering student! Check out some of my tech projects here.
This year, I will be the conductor and director of UofT Engineering's " Skule Stageband", a 20-piece big band that performs at various UofT Engineering events throughout the year. In previous years, I was the pianist for the ensemble.
In addition to directing, I also arrange and compose music for this ensemble! For more info about that, check out the "Arrangements" section of this website.
I had the privlege of scoring the short film STRINGS, written by David Armata and directed by Ella Strilec.
I am also the pianist of "Skule Combo", a small jazz ensemble that performs for weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions.
I am the lead pianist (keys 1) for the Skule Nite Pit Orchestra, a 20-piece orchestra that performs for UofT Engineering's annual musical sketch comedy revue, "Skule Nite". I also arrange music for the show! For more information about Skule Nite, check out their website here.
